At Chisel Factor Foundation, we believe economic empowerment is the first step toward dignity for women.  In many Tier 2 to Tier 5 towns and villages across India, women are forced to depend on others due to lack of income, skills, or societal support. We are changing that.

1. Micro and Nano Loans

We provide small-scale loans to women to help them start or expand home-based or local businesses — tailoring, food stalls, retail kiosks, and more.

Inspired by global efforts like UN WOMEN’s microfinance models and the Tamil Nadu Government’s Self Help Group (SHG) scheme, our loans are designed to give women immediate control over their livelihood and household needs.

2. Business Training in Local Languages

We create bite-sized (2–5 minute) business training videos in Tamil and other regional languages — accessible through YouTube and later via our app.

These videos cover topics like pricing, managing profits, and basic inventory. A flower vendor in Thoothukudi, for example, can watch a quick video on calculating cost price during her break and immediately apply it.

3. Marketing, Social Media & Market Connect

We teach women to use tools like WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Facebook Marketplace to sell their products beyond their locality.

We also help them build real market linkages — connecting with buyers, retail partners, and platforms to grow their reach.

1. Modhi Vilaiyadu Paapa – Child Sexual Abuse Awareness

We believe every child deserves a safe, abuse-free childhood.

Chisel Factor Foundation created Modhi Vilaiyadu Paapa as a bold, necessary step to educate children across Tamil Nadu about sexual abuse — how to identify it, speak up, and stay safe.

The program uses school sessions, expert-led classes, and outreach videos — including our awareness video featuring Actor Sivakarthikeyan — to talk directly to children, parents, and teachers.

We conduct MVP (Mindful. Vigil. Prevent.) programs in both government and private schools. Children are taught how to be alert, how to say NO, and how to report. Parents and teachers are trained to watch for behavior changes and intervene early. We work with honesty, science, and compassion to help build a society where children are heard, protected, and raised with dignity.

2. Cyber Safety for Young Adults

Many young girls and boys in India are falling prey to online sexual abuse, grooming, and digital blackmail. Men and online perpetrators manipulate young minds using kind words, false promises of love, and emotional tricks. Most victims don’t speak up — fearing judgment, shame, or punishment from family. That silence is deadly.

Chisel Factor Foundation is launching a Cyber Safety Helpline (Aug 2025) – a safe, anonymous space for children and young adults to report cyber abuse, sextortion, grooming, or bullying.

We act as a trusted bridge between the survivor and law enforcement, guiding them through the legal process, and ensuring emotional and psychological support. We will also help those facing online bullying based on caste, colour, religion, financial status or gender identity — creating a safer internet experience for all.

We believe that aging should never mean losing dignity, safety, or independence.

At Chisel Factor Foundation, we support senior citizens who face financial instability, digital vulnerability, and emotional neglect — especially those living alone or unsupported by family. Our aim is to help them live their final years with peace, security, and self-worth.

1. Elder Abuse & Cybercrime Support

Many elders are victims of financial fraud, cyber scams, and even abuse from within their own families. We guide them on how to identify abuse, protect their finances, and report cybercrimes. Our team also helps with documentation, police complaints, and connecting them with legal volunteers. Workshops are conducted in local languages to help elders become digitally aware and emotionally empowered

2. Livelihood Opportunities for Elders

Not every senior wants to “retire.” Many want to stay active and earn. We help elders find flexible, senior-friendly jobs — from home-based work to paid mentoring or support roles — to keep them financially stable and mentally engaged. We collaborate with partner businesses and startups to offer real income opportunities. We also promote digital literacy so they can work online or run small-scale services from home.

3. Caregiver Training Programs

We run training programs to build a skilled pool of caregivers for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. This not only helps seniors get the support they deserve but also creates job opportunities for people looking to work in this sector. Modules include health monitoring, emergency care, mental health support, & eldercommuni-cation.Certified caregivers from our program are also connected to families and senior care facilities in need.
